Airnorth Fares on Sale Toowoomba – Melbourne and Toowoomba – Cairns
Airnorth Australia’s premier regional Airline, will commence non-stop Jet services between Toowoomba (Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport) and Melbourne, and also Toowoomba and Cairns from 14 March 2016.
Operating seven return flights a week every Monday to Friday and Sunday between Toowoomba and Melbourne and three return flights a week every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday between Toowoomba and Cairns, this new route opens up Melbourne and Cairns for residents of Toowoomba and their surrounding regions.
Business travellers, sporting enthusiasts and holiday makers are expected to be among travellers on the first flights. Residents will now be able to spend weekends in Melbourne or Cairns, attending some of Australia’s leading sporting events or visiting North Queensland with its incredible diversity and unique attractions.
Internet fares are now on sale at www.airnorth.com.au and start from $179* per person one way from Toowoomba to Melbourne and $139* one way from Toowoomba to Cairns. Bookings can also be made by contacting Airnorth’s friendly reservations team on 1800 627 474 or, through your local travel agent.
The new flights will also allow passengers from the Toowoomba region to easily connect onto international and other domestic services via Melbourne or Cairns.

Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport General Manager Phil Gregory is excited by the 14th March launch of the new services and stated, “Toowoomba and surrounding regions has a catchment area of almost 400,000 people and by the time residents drive two hours to Brisbane Airport, park and then fly, a direct service from Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport would already have them at their destination in either Melbourne or Cairns.
