Airnorth – finalist for 2021 chief minister’s NT Resource Supply and Service award

Airnorth, the Northern Territory’s home-grown airline, has been named a 2021 finalist for the Chief Minister’s NT Export and Industry Awards – Resource Supply and Service Category after being honoured with last year’s winning submission. The award shines light on to businesses in the NT that have demonstrated outstanding achievement in manufacturing, innovation, resource supply and service, and Aboriginal business sectors.

“Here at Airnorth, we remain true to our Company’s values, and there is a focus to challenge and improve on our service offering even during what has been another tumultuous year for businesses across Australia. This nomination is a testament and a recognition to the whole team at Airnorth who has set the bar for excellence and has continued to find innovative ways to serve the Resources Industry and our customers” said Airnorth CEO Daniel Bowden.

Airnorth’s submission features advanced business solutions and several developments unique to their industry, including efficient air crew scheduling and effective contingency planning that supports their daily operations. It’s also taken a massive step in making the business greener and more sustainable by going paperless with their electronic flight bag program.

Airnorth aims to sustain their growth and to continue working on developments that benefit the business and other sectors that move the whole NT. It has been mastering the northern skies for over 40 years and continues their dedication to service communities and regional hubs across the country.
