Airnorth increases flights for the Pilbara

Airnorth, celebrating 35 years of flying as Australia’s second longest operating airline, is pleased to announce it will commence an additional Wednesday service from Darwin to the Pilbara from 07 August 2012.

This new service increases the Airnorth’s Pilbara services to three flights per week, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, providing a direct link between Broome, Port Hedland and Karratha.

“Airnorth provides a much-needed direct link between these two resource rich destinations and to Broome. We have implemented this third service to meet the demand on the route and from the positive support received from business and community representatives in the Pilbara, Broome and the Northern Territory,” said Airnorth’s CEO, Mr Michael Bridge.

“In conjunction with our existing Tuesday service, this new Wednesday service now provides business passengers with a next day option for travel between Broome and Karratha,” Mr Bridge said.

One way internet airfares are on sale now and start from only $127* for Karratha to Port Hedland, from $216* for Port Hedland to Broome, from $248* for Karratha to Broome and from $317* for Karratha to Darwin.
