Airnorth resumes flights between Toowoomba and Cairns
Airnorth is delighted to announce the resumption of services between Toowoomba and Cairns for a limited time only. Services will recommence on Saturday July 18 and will operate twice weekly through to the end of September.
This seasonal service, connecting tropics to patchwork plains has come at a poignant time as Queensland Tourism launches “You’re Good to Go” campaign yesterday, that is projected to deliver $1 billion over the next four months to the ravaged tourism industry.
“Extraordinary times have provided us with a unique opportunity to operate services between these iconic regions,” said CEO Daniel Bowden. “We are thrilled to be able to deliver a much-requested service amidst these unprecedented times that enable families to reconnect and providing much needed support to the tourism industry by providing further intra-state travel options within Queensland.”
This announcement comes off the back of Airnorth’s resumption of flights between Toowoomba and Townsville connecting on to Darwin that commenced Monday 29th June.
To celebrate, Airnorth has released sale fares starting from $179 one-way for travel dates between 18th July and 31st August.
