Checked baggage

Airnorth understands that when you need to travel, you also need to pack a bag for the journey. All our flights include free* checked baggage. So, whether you are travelling for business, leisure or just paying the rellies a visit, everything you need to know about checked baggage is outlined here.

To ensure your journey with us is comfortable and relaxed prior to departure, here is some important information on what we consider acceptable checked baggage for our aircraft types.

Checked baggage allowance and dimensions for Embraer E170/E190 jet aircraft:

All classes include free 20kg checked baggage allowance for each adult and child (except infants).

One piece of baggage must not exceed 32kg

Checked baggage allowance and dimensions for Embraer E120 aircraft:

All classes include free 15kg checked baggage allowance for each adult and child (except infants).

*Where possible, we will endeavour to carry all checked baggage on the same flight you’re travelling on, however from time to time we may encounter payload restrictions, if this is the case, your baggage will be transported on a later flight, in which you can collect from the airport.

Child baggage allowance

We understand that when travelling with infants and children, they may need a few additional items to help protect and keep them comfortable.

Each child travelling with an adult can also check in two child items up to 10kg each additionally to the free 20kg checked baggage allowance.

Child items can include:

• car seat
• collapsible stroller or pushchair

Infants travelling can check in up to three infant associated items free of charge up to 20kg in total.

Please note: Infant items can include; collapsible stroller or push-chair, collapsible cot or bassinet, and car seat or baby capsule. All checked baggage must comply with our carriage conditions.
