Darwin is the Northern Territory’s tropical capital city, famous for a relaxed lifestyle, history, and sense of adventure. Considered the gateway to some of the most incredible natural and cultural attractions Australia has to offer, the region is loaded with World Heritage-listed sites.
It’s colourful history and proximity to Southeast Asia has made it one of Australia’s most culturally diverse cities. Today, more than 50 nationalities make up its population, including the area’s traditional landowners, the Larrakia Aboriginal people.

Dili is the capital of Timor-Leste, a unique and diverse destination bursting with natural beauty and still untouched from the masses.
Known for its spectacular diving opportunities, interesting heritage and friendly locals, Dili is a short 90-minute flight from Darwin.
In a place of lush natural beauty, where the beaches sit surrounded by deep-red cliffs, discover an untouched beauty. Elcho Island is the largest Aboriginal community in northeast Arnhem Land and is the second largest Aboriginal community in the Northern Territory. Guests to the island can experience the warmth and hospitality of the local people and learn about the rich history of the land. Any visit to Elcho Island would not be complete without stopping in at Elcho Island Arts, where you can purchase a vibrant piece of traditional artwork.

Escape the crowds and experience the natural riches of the Northern Territory when you visit Gove. Be awed by its’ unspoilt coastline, wetlands rich in birdlife and world-class fishing – there really is no better place to disconnect and get away from it all.

To visit most areas in this region it is necessary to obtain a visitors permit that can be obtained from the Northern Land Council in Nhulunbuy or from the Dhimurru Aboriginal Corporation.
Named “Great Island” by the Dutch explorer Abel Tasman in 1644, the island has been home to the Anindilyakwa Aboriginal people for hundreds of years.
Surrounding the island is a marine environment with fabulous reef systems and rich recreational fisheries. Over 50 different species are caught in the pristine waters surrounding Groote Eylandt. The fishing anywhere in ‘the Gulf’ at any time of year is amongst the best in the world.

McArthur River Mine produces zinc bulk concentrate for global markets. The operation works in partnership with employees, suppliers, customers, the community of the local Borroloola region, the Northern Territory and Australian Governments.
This sacred land has been occupied by Indigenous owners for more than 40,000 years. Milingimbi Island forms part of the Crocodile Islands group in the Arafura Sea situated approximately 440km east of Darwin, and 200km west of Nhulunbuy (Gove).

Perth is the capital of Western Australia and one of the country’s most beautiful cities.
With over 80 kilometres of unspoilt white sandy beaches, Perth’s coast is ideal for swimming and surfing with the city itself being especially spectacular at night, when its glittering skyline is reflected in the Swan River.
Free buses get you around the Central Business District, where you can visit many Perth tourist attractions or enjoy the city’s quality department and fashion chain stores in the Murray Street and Hay Street malls.

Known as ‘the Territory’s heart of gold’, Tennant Creek will give you a genuine Australian Outback experience. Visit a local sacred site of the Warumungu people, relax in the natural surroundings of the Honeymoon Ranges, visit Australia’s last operating tenhead gold stamp battery or try fossicking for your own gold to take home in this golden town.
